Prevent selecting PivotHeader?

Apr 26, 2012 at 8:20 AM

After few works looking for WPF Spark I'm loving the PivotPanel.

But now I have a question? How can I prevent selecting an other PivotHeader?

e.g. My app starts on first PivotHeader, it contains editing elements where I can add elements to a list which is located in second PivotHeader. While editing the elements on first PivotHeader it should not be able to select the 2nd PivotHeader. Is this possible? After editing the elements is finished, selecting another PivotHeader (2nd) should be able.

In my short test apps, I can't to that.

Thanks in advance,

Hi Guenter,

This requires updation of the PivotPanel code to add the handler for this scenario.

I will check the IsEnabled property for the PivotHeaderControl to ensure whether a header can be selected or not.

I will be updating the code soon.
